Overview
Golden Triangle Tour encompasses travel to three hugely popular cities of India- New Delhi- it is the capital city India, Jaipur - the capital of the royal state of Rajasthan and Agra, the city where the very famous Taj Mahal is located. This trip is called the Golden Triangle Tour as a triangular shape is formed by locations of Agra, Jaipur, and Delhi on the map. You need at least 5- 6 days all of the three cities. If you have lesser days you will not be able to complete all the attractions. When you see on the map, all of these three destinations build a triangle; essentially you need to travel around 200 to 250 km each side to visit these cities. It is because of this shape that this trip is referred to as the "golden triangle tour". The extraordinary affluence of culture and historical splendor is offered by all these three cities. Welcome onboard a wonderful tour with us to one of the most vibrant and colorful Triangle i.e. Delhi- Agra - Jaipur! Today, we all will gather at nearby hotel and then transferred to the hotel.Thereafter explore (on your own - 05PM-07PM) the very famous Connaught Place. Here you have multiple options to shop and dine. Overnight at Hotel.
Today enjoy a city tour of Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat, drive past Jama Masjid and the Red Fort. In the afternoon Qutub Minar, India Gate and the Lotus Temple. During your tour drive past the President's House, Parliament House and the Government Secretariat Buildings. Today your journey continues to another historical and romantic city of Agra. En-route visit Sikandara - the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar. Thereafter proceed to sun-set visit Taj Mahal (On Friday it is closed and if we reached on Friday then same will be cover on next day Sun-rise visit to Taj Mahal) built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. This morning proceed to the Pink City of Jaipur. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri - once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar & Chand Baori Step Well -The water of this massive, ornate step well from the 8th & 9th centuries was reached by 3,500 steps.. This morning, you will proceed on a visit to the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha Rajputs, Amber Fort. En-route enjoy a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal - the palace of wind. Later visit the Ci, costumesty Palace and the apartment housing museums with an array of textiles, arms, weapons and paintings and finally visit Jantar-Mantar, the observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh-II. Today you are transferred to the Delhi airport or Delhi railway station for your onward journey. Note – Guests, who would like to book their return journeys out of Delhi, can book their flights/trains after 6pm on the last day of tour – subject the traffic, road conditions and the time group checks out in the morning.
